ISO 45001 Certification
What is ISO 45001?
ISO 45001:2018 is the international standard for an Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) management system. It provides a framework to identify hazards, control risks and prevent work-related injury and ill health, with strong emphasis on worker participation. It replaced the former OHSAS 18001 standard.
Who needs ISO 45001 certification?
- Construction and contracting firms bidding for projects
- Manufacturing and industrial operations with machinery and process hazards
- Logistics and service businesses protecting field and warehouse teams
How certification works
After application review, a Stage 1 readiness review is followed by a Stage 2 audit of your OH&S system in operation. An independent decision maker then reviews the findings and decides whether to certify. Certificates are valid three years with annual surveillance audits.
Why certify with Company Certification International
CCI is a certification body — see our accreditation and recognition statement for details. Help with your OH&S policy or hazard and risk registers, if you want it, is available separately through ISOXPERT Management & IT Consultants. CCI does not provide management-system consultancy, documentation drafting or implementation support. Engaging ISOXPERT Management & IT Consultants — an independent consulting and technology firm under common ownership with CCI — any other consultant, or no consultant has no bearing on any certification decision.
