What Company Certification International (CCI)'s accreditation covers, what it means for a certificate, and how to check it for yourself.
Our accreditation
Company Certification International is accredited by International Accreditation Registrar (IAR), USA — accreditation No. IAR-112. IAR is an independent accreditation body and is not a signatory to the Global ACI MRA (formerly the IAF MLA).
The IAR-112 accreditation is held by Company Certification LLC (USA), the legal entity that issues CCI's certificates and holds every certification agreement. Its group companies — CCI Services (Pakistan) and Company Certification Int. Ltd. (England & Wales, No. 14353705) — are under common ownership and perform no certification functions.
What accreditation means
Accreditation is an independent, third-party assessment of how we audit and certify — not of the organizations we certify. IAR periodically assesses CCI's competence, consistency and impartiality against ISO/IEC 17021-1:2015, the international standard for bodies that audit and certify management systems.
Recognition — stated plainly
Certification under IAR accreditation suits organizations whose buyers or regulators do not require certification under a Global ACI MRA (formerly IAF MLA) signatory accreditation.
Where a buyer or tender explicitly requires accreditation from a Global ACI MRA signatory, a CCI certificate may not satisfy that requirement. If a specific buyer or tender is driving your decision to certify, please check their stated accreditation requirement before choosing a certification body — our team is glad to help you interpret it.
For exactly that situation, CCI offers a premium route: internationally recognized (MRA) certification delivered through our established partnership with an accredited partner certification body whose accreditation body is a signatory to the Global ACI MRA (formerly the IAF MLA). CCI is your single point of contact — we quote, invoice and coordinate the process end-to-end; the partner body retains full certification authority, concludes the certification agreement with you and issues the certificate in its own name — so the certificate you receive carries the MRA-recognized accreditation your buyer requires.
Looking for “IAF-accredited” certification?
Buyers and tenders often ask for “IAF-accredited” or “IAF-recognized” certification. What that means: certification issued by a body whose accreditation body is a signatory to the IAF Multilateral Recognition Arrangement (IAF MLA) — the peer-recognition arrangement that makes accredited certificates accepted across borders. In January 2026, IAF merged with ILAC into Global Accreditation Cooperation (Global ACI), and the IAF MLA is now operated as the Global ACI MRA; the market still widely says “IAF”.
Stated plainly: CCI's own accreditation (IAR, No. IAR-112) is not part of the IAF MLA / Global ACI MRA. Where your buyer specifically requires IAF MLA-signatory accreditation, we deliver certification through our established partnership with an accredited partner certification body whose accreditation meets that requirement — CCI quotes, invoices and coordinates the process end-to-end, and the partner body retains full certification authority and issues the certificate in its own name. Note that IAF itself never certified companies: it recognized accreditation bodies, which accredit certification bodies, which certify organizations like yours.
