Impartiality & Independence
Certification decisions, kept independent
How Company Certification International (CCI) keeps every certification decision free of commercial influence — from who audits, to who decides, to what we disclose.
Certification only
CCI does not provide management-system consultancy, documentation drafting or implementation support. Engaging ISOXPERT Management & IT Consultants — an independent consulting and technology firm under common ownership with CCI — any other consultant, or no consultant has no bearing on any certification decision.
Independent decisions
Every certification decision is made by a person or panel not involved in the audit, in accordance with ISO/IEC 17021-1:2015.
Before any decision is made, the audit evidence and findings undergo independent technical review to confirm they support the recommendation.
Our safeguards
Our auditors provide no consultancy to any organization.
A conflict-of-interest register is maintained for every auditor.
An auditor who has provided consultancy to an organization does not audit that organization for at least two years, per ISO/IEC 17021-1.
Related companies — disclosed
ISOXPERT Management & IT Consultants and its Compliance360 platform are under common ownership with CCI. They are organizationally separate, are never party to any certification decision, and buying or not buying their services has no bearing on certification.
The CCI group itself operates through three entities under common ownership: Company Certification LLC (USA), which holds the IAR-112 accreditation and issues CCI's certificates; CCI Services (Pakistan), the local operations entity; and Company Certification Int. Ltd. (England & Wales, No. 14353705), which owns the group's software platforms. Only Company Certification LLC performs certification functions.
