ISO 14001:2015 is the international standard for an Environmental Management System (EMS) — a structured, risk-based way to identify environmental aspects, meet legal obligations and reduce your impact. How certification works

After application review: a Stage 1 documentation and readiness review, then a Stage 2 audit of the system in operation. An independent decision maker reviews the findings and decides whether to certify. Certificates are valid three years with annual surveillance audits.
