ISO 14001 Certification
What is ISO 14001?
ISO 14001:2015 is the international standard for an Environmental Management System (EMS) — a structured, risk-based way to identify environmental aspects, meet legal obligations and reduce your impact. Certification is independent third-party confirmation — see our accreditation and recognition statement for details.
Who needs ISO 14001 certification?
- Manufacturers managing emissions, waste and resource use
- Construction and industrial firms meeting client and planning requirements
- Exporters and suppliers facing customer sustainability and ESG demands
How certification works
After application review: a Stage 1 documentation and readiness review, then a Stage 2 audit of the system in operation. An independent decision maker reviews the findings and decides whether to certify. Certificates are valid three years with annual surveillance audits.
Why certify with CCI
CCI is a certification body — see our accreditation statement. Help with your environmental policy or aspects/impacts register, if wanted, is available separately through ISOXPERT Management & IT Consultants. CCI does not provide management-system consultancy, documentation drafting or implementation support. Engaging ISOXPERT Management & IT Consultants — an independent consulting and technology firm under common ownership with CCI — any other consultant, or no consultant has no bearing on any certification decision.
