What are the seven fundamental principles of quality management?

The seven principles of quality management include:

  • Leadership
  • Process approach
  • Improvement
  • Evidence-based decision making
  • Relationship management

These quality management principles were formulated by the International Organisation for Standardisation's quality management and quality assurance committee (ISO/TC 176) and were incorporated with the release of ISO 9001:2000.
